The sweetness really comes out on my skin in this one the way it does in that. I must admit that I've been a little stuck on my way to find a signature fragrance for the warmer evenings, so am very relieved to discover that Givenchy's Irresisitible seems to be a good contender. It's a great every day easy reach fragrance. I won't be really wearing it but it has certain charm to it. It developed rather beautifully though, and the pear in this is definitely better than a lot of designer scents that feature pear. the scent then dries down as a fruity floral with a musky background. Irresistible is a musky floral scent with a slight watery crispness provided by the pear. To me it gives me that super sweet almost too sweet but then is evened out with light fruity florals. I'll pass this one, the bottle is really beautiful tho. Sort of!?!
This morphed into a bright and sparkling spring day, a sophisticated effervescent rose and the initial odd note was forgotten. I think this is a great spring scent.
It's extremely sweet & sticky at the beginning. This is such a sweet and fruity fragrance. Base: Virginia Cedar, Musk. It's a bit generic but I honestly really liked this when I smelt it on a sample. Top notes are Pear and Ambrette (Musk Mallow); middle notes are Rose and iris; base notes are Musk and Virginia Cedar. To me-if Pink Sugar and sweet like candy had a babythis would be her! The opening was a beautiful pear, very strong, but after a few minutes it became very aquatic on my skin :(. It is for cool girls who work with ambition to be in Responsibility. There is no crispness here, and no bottom like Lancome's Idole, for example, which I would definitely choose over this one.This is only "Blaah" to me. Fresh soap! No lasting power or projection, no personality just flat, faceless and instantly forgettable. Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, etina, Italiano, , Polski, Portugus, , , Nederlands, Srpski, Romn, , , , . I impulsively bought the 35ml bottle without even testing it on my skin first. I layer them and get stopped walking in a store. Sadly. It's a beautiful perfume, a bit seductive but not too much. This reminds me so much of Lancme La Vie Est Belle Intensement. This is the closest Ive gotten to the Live Irresistible Delicieuse fragrance without having to go through so many frag groups to find it. Typically I would never even bother with these fragrances because I find they often are sickly sweet and they vibe much more with a younger crowd than it does with the average 40 year old woman like me, but somehow this works and that makes me happy because I do love those scents to smell just not as a personal perfume, more like spritz on my blanket to cuddle up with. It must be because its a blonde wood so must be very light. Musk is hit or miss on me so I wouldn't wear it but I'm sure it's nice on the right person. I was looking for a spring perfume and this definitely screams spring, just so girly but not in a juvenile way.
It starts out really pretty, I enjoyed the opening. Strong pear on a bed of marshmallows! I've done many blind buys during the quarantine and this is the first perfume I tried after the lock down. Easily forgettable.
It is somehow interesting; to me it smells like tart strawberry milkshake - not thick and synthetic, but something you make yourself from freshly picked strawberries and skim milk. Citrusy pear and ambroxan in the opening. Nothing synthetic about it , it has a musky freshness , my husband thought it smelled very pretty ! I was expecting it to be more sweet and fruity. It smells like candy to me. 9 times out of 10 their fragrances are strong, TOO strong even, and I almost never have a problem with perfume being too much. This is the perfect signature daytime or work scent in my opinion. the scent didnt change on me at all which is nice in some ways.
It's not my usual thing so I can smell it harshly for an hour or 2 before I become noseblind. Unique but still inoffensive and I could wear this year round. I appreciate how the pear note is rounded and vanillic as opposed to screechy fruit accords.

I don't know how I got suckered into this scent, probably because after trying several scents at Ulta, I might have been smelling something else and this smelled like lovely fresh floral fruity scent. So I gave this away. and it lasts on my friend. It's so feminine and pretty! I don't know if I'm crazy, but it really reminds me of the dry down of Parfums de Marly's Delina, Delina being a bit more fully bodied, sour and unique. There is something that reminds me of my childhood maybe that's why I love this musky powdery perfume. Got this as a sample from Macys wasnt expecting too much since I havent heard anyone talking about it.
Not groundbreaking, but pleasant. I like a more musky floral like this, but for me this smells exactly like shampoo, so Ill be passing on this one. I smell the pear and rose upon first spray, a nice pleasant fruity/floral opening. Irresistible Givenchy by Givenchy is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. It has also a vintage vibe. Since it's somewhat one dimensional, I'd normally say it's not worth the money, but it lasts forever. not offensive at all. Iris is just like a small touch, I also like so much iris for the powdery note (not too strong, just perfect for me). Its one I enjoy getting wafts of, but makes me headache-y if I put my nose close to it. The pear definitely makes this a bit crisper and not unbearingly sweet, which I think it almost is (for me personally).
Some will find this boring, and I will admit I am not blown away,but it is a nice change from all the sugar bombs that seem to be the norm today. (I like Delina more.) Givenchy is generally a house that I tend to enjoy. Smells like a woman, and im not sure im quite there yet.
Its better than Very Good Girl which turns plasticky on me, but to me it gives a similar vibe just a bit lighter on the rose. For the base tones I could feel a very mild hint of rustic sweetness that I assume is the pear. This smells especially like rose, iris and musk. The good thing is, this is suitable for many occasions for someone that enjoys the notes. I wear it for business, week-end, friends, etc. Im questioning what was going on with the perfumersbut cant win them all, right? And this is most definety not like that. This is so musky, and powdery maybe from the iris. honestly, i feel like this is an underrated one. To me this smells EXACTLY like Si Passione from Armani very generic and boring. It doesnt have that musky powdery scent either so its just right!

Probably Givenchys answer to Idole. I absolutely am in love with this. Opening is nice you can smell the fruitiness there but very quickly become soapy, maybe its just on my skin Try it on before you buy it. That being said, it just smells sweet and a little musky to me. This smells like a l'interdit flanker or is it just me? Very similar vibes to Si Passione & Si passione intense.. not a unique scent. it begins with a loud shimmering collection of pear notes and a beautiful ambrette, but it soon develops into much more of a subtle powdery rose scent, fading from your skin at about the end of a conventional workday. While it smells completely different in the opening, as it develops it smells oddly similar to Montale Intense Cafe with an added soapiness.
and better worked on and more mature. It really smells like Im just wearing plain old lotion in my skin. I sprayed this today and instantly thought of Fairy Love by escada. I really love this perfume. Tested this briefly on skin and this is underwhelming. Great!

This is very average and mediocre for Givenchy, Im kind of surprised, Smells stunning very sweet and musky I do get the pear but this is very much like givency live Irresistible without the pineapple note I love the bottle really pretty nice summer scent makes me happy. This scent completely surprised me. I don't normally like the rose accord in perfumes neither the musky ones but THIS. Its so interesting how fragrances present differently on different body chemistries and smell different to different noses. And I never lean towards woody scents (as this has that as part of its description) but honestly it wasnt even noticeable in this! I could see myself wearing this specifically on days where I don't want an overwhelming fragrance. But I'm not a fan of aquatics. It is by no means a beast, but even in the heat I find this to be one of my longer lasting fragrances. So pretty! Feminine but fresh, not sure about the sillage as testing from vial sample, but could be bottle worthy for spring time as its pretty. The first thing that I get is a soft powder and then maybe light florals. Right up my alley. Not cute. Just WOW! Like ok it isnt a complex perfume but it smells feminine and really charming , the ambrette gives it an uplifting vibe. An absolutely stunning scent its so addictive I cant stop sniffing perfect for the warmer months smells like holiday in the sun . It's definitely "pink," but not tacky. It's just incredibly beautiful.
The same crushed sugar with raspberries and a hint of cedar with rose, and a bit of vanilla. So the opening here is juicy pear with a musky floral note. I am very unsure of this is the correct one i tried as they are confusingly similar looking, but the bottle said this, and the notes makes so sense, so I will leave a review :) this is instantly bringing me back to 1999, when I used cacharel noa. This would be my favorite perfume if it lasted more than 20 minutes on my skin.

This is a very fruity scent, I find that it doesn't last very long so if you don't mind reapplying then this won't be a problem, I don't usually go for fruity perfumes but this is nice. Several more hours later she texted me that she just got out of the shower and she can still smell it. Love this! I don't get too much of the rose and musk here, though it does feel like a deep, thick scent instead of an overly bright or fruity one. Musky rose, not a whole lot I have to say about this one. Extremely sweet, syrupy pear opening - I love sweet scents but this is a bit cloying; Id go as far as to say headachey. I do like this perfume. I was expecting something a little more adult. Where does it go? But I find Irresistable is one of the better of that category. I would have given it 5 stars but in reality its more 4.5 stars.

It's quite youthful, and I can see some people finding it too youthful. Classy, Elegant scent. Smells generic, boring, simplistic, NOTHING like Delina and so disappointing considering their Linterdit line is absolutely amazing. This is hands down one of the best perfumes of 2020, I went to Macy's smelled the tester and came home with it, get lots of compliments, someone in the comments said it smells like S original, there is absolutely no way this smells like S pasione which i also own and can tell you is not true. The dry down is nicer but it somehow reminds me the scent of a drugstore shampoo I had sometime. got this today & sooooo bummed this didnt work for me :(. To my nose its the same alcoholic vibe than SI (just that first spray) and after the marshmallow on Ari. Slightly more grown up, but the same level of marshmallowy sweetness. Turned into something of a soap scent. Smells like a fruity rosy shampoo, more on the fruity side in my opinion. It lies rather close to the skin, but I did get a compliment on my scent when I hugged a friend. Its a nice spring fragrance. Personally it's not my usual style but it has a hypnotizing quality; I can't stop smelling! Pretty safe blind. I received a sample and hadnt seen it in the box till now. My adidas edt lasts longer on me. Smells like an ice pop??? I have never understood why this fragrance seemed to be completely ignored by the fragrance community when it was launched. The pear note and the creamy musk stand out on me very nicely- its got a very nice warmth that is borderline gourmand smelling but then the iris and rose lend an almost sophisticated clean, soapy to the finish which makes it a very warm, cozy, clean fruity perfume on me. Generic, fruity musky sweet. I didnt even notice until I got home and I was SO SO SO PUMPED I bought the newest Viva Box a few weeks ago, and had there not been one within that that I had already planned to get this was choice two! Intoxicating. The citrus notes lighten the scent which makes this a really enticing summer scent. Nothing stands out as disagreeable on my skin, and its actually quite pleasant to wear. I dont really get musk, just sweet fruit. Then, my like would be a love! :) professional yet flirtatious, accessible yet complex the perfect scent for convincing people that your skin somehow just smells like sultry roses on its own. Projects like a little pink beast so don't overspray it. Tempted to buy a bottle but need to test longevity. I'm not usually a huge fan of floral perfumes, but I have to say that the bottom notes really round this scent out with a nice woody richness that I enjoy. :) There is a tiny little bit of an iris note there, too. I thought it would be boring like idole.
In my opinion, its similar to Valentino Valentina Pink on the dry down (sweet and fruity). You can smell a hint of rose but in such a powdery way that is just so beautiful, etheral, soft and kind. I found it a little boring to be honest. Imagine a woman in her late 20's or early 30's, hair and makeup simple but perfectly done, wearing a blush pink trench coat and a low end designer bag, she's understated and kind. You can go to bath and body works or Victoria Secret and buy a perfume that smells like this and spend a lot less money. Fragrantica Inc, United States.
I received a sample yesterday and it smells so pretty !! Its sweet and pretty inoffensive - my first thought was raspberry bonbons, which I quite enjoyed. idk how else to describe it but this perfume is so elegant while still being youthful and girly - I can imagine this is what Blair Waldorf wore during the first few seasons of GG. Not a huge fan even though the scent is somewhat nice. Not a bad scent, but definitely not for me because I'm not a fan of pear or very sweet fragrances. It's less than a "universally pleasant easy grab-n-go" kind of scent. Based on reviews I was so excited to try it however all I smell is strawberry hairspray, and thats it. HOWEVER, my skin eats this up, no trace left after 15 minutes.
I'm still testing the sample that I have of this, and I'm getting more and more convinced that this is totally uninteresting.

It is quite strong actually. It is simplistic and glamorous but also just the right size , so it is easy to handle.At first sniff I didn't know what to think! This is a new fragrance.
I am into niche fragrances these days but I am quite impressed by this one. I find it very cloying.
