It got some floral nuances that the male version lacks, but it gives it a little more dept and personality. A spring summer fragrance with moderate sillage and longevity. versense Im in love with it. Lily is the same as in Gucci Bamboo. love this perfume!!! Aroma by Costa Brazil: Candidate For Best Fragrance 2022? Very nice! Now sprinkle in the other notes, and stir it up until its like a shake. Versace is an excentric and a bit tacky designer brand. That's the issue I have with a lot of Versace scents: they smell like scented chemicals to me; some are very nice, but chemicals nonetheless. Personally, I have worn this fragrance for about 8 years - perhaps more. Long lasting. This is one of my dumb reach perfumes. However, after 3 hours of wear, it becomes heavier on the pear note and smells like Dior J'adore or Bond No 9 Astor Place! I really love how it smells out of the bottle. Two I had, the citrus was too mucb and didnt work with my skin, as citrus dominant scents tend to do with me.
On my skin, this is a laundry powder fresh, fruity fragrance. Base notes leave a cover of woody accords of sandalwood, cedar, olive wood and sensual musk. the opening is lovely! Lemon Verbena + something coniferous? The sillage is not that intense and gets mellow pretty soon. I am getting a lot of indistinctive citrus and synthetic woods in this one. I can't detect the individual floral notes but combined with the cardamom and woody notes in the base they work so well. The bottle is beaituful, so classy and pleasant. I disagree with the ratings here - I think this could easily go from day to night. I just enjoy it so much. Such an uplifting scent for any time of the year although I'll assume it blooms in the heat (haven't tried it in the heat yet though, just the winter).
I tried this fragrance at the perfume store the other day, this is a very light fragrance, while the light citrus notes were nice but it's too subtle I can barely smell it and its longevity is very weak, only lasted less than an hour on my skin. Then, it fades into cardamom with some citrus and white florals in the background. One of my favorite Versace fragrances. Opening is more of citrusy followed by elevating florals and woods in it. I bought it when I was just out of school, and still have it, because I started using perfumes daily only recently, so I have a lot of years this being my only scent, and still being used a lot. Many people dont know that spraying on your skin makes any fragrance less likely to last. It opens up sweet green, I get a green jujube vibe at first, that mellows down quickly to a soft green, very slightly sweet (the pear?) Received this today expecting a fresh Green citrus instead i was transported back to Gucci Envy! They have a similar vibe, but I think I like Light Blue more.
This scent is so sexy. As I continued on shopping, I suddenly noticed that the fragranced had changed again to a fresh, delicate, and slightly green scent. Ladies, how would you like this on a man? It is citrus woody and aromatic which gives it a creamy well blended softness. It is rather really woody, which makes it last longer that usual perfumes in this category. This is best of my summer scents and is completely phenomenal one being a beastly performer specially for the freshness in it. Much affordable and highly versatile. This one smells very unisex. Love love love this! As a guy, I find this is indeed a feminine scent, despite the masculine elements. If you are looking for a casual, non offensive fragrance you won't want to pass this gem up. So refreshing and bright to wear. What a lovely surprise - the nice scent of herbs and citruses, not too sweet, very clean and refreshing. After two wears, though, I get a soft floral with a shampoo-y or lotion-y vibe and not much else. So I asked, "Who smells so good?!" This scent smells so creamy and fresh on my skin. It's nostalgic for something for me but I just can't put my nose on it. the citrus top notes makes you smile, it is like reminscing good happy memories (a very good vibes. Solid like! That said this scent is mine all mine and love the citrus blast it gives, the performance is there as well for being a citrus freshie.
I don't find the sillage overpowering and longevity is decent. Green but sweet. Very office friendly, I do like it even though the bright citrus mellows pretty quickly. I get bergamot, cedar, cardamom and olives. Nothing off-putting about it, just nothing noteworthy either. I can't really put my finger on any of the notes, I just get the vague sense that I'm eating lemongrass. Gone completely in 3. Pear joins, and the top becomes slightly coarse, like its granular, almost floral, saccharine texture against the tongue.
I also get a vibe of Tea, which also smell pretty nice and relaxing. Advertising face for Versense is Toni Garrn, and photographer is Michelangelo di Battista. I just didn't think I needed another green floral woody musk, but Versence sets itself apart by tempering the strident green opening with a subtle sweetness which can sometimes be lacking in similar fragrances. I also think skin chemistry plays a role in this one because my skin turns everything sweet. As a man, Im always looking for the next best scent. This is not an overly feminine fragrance and I can definitely see a man wearing it. I read a couple whiffed reviews before engaging in my own writing, and it is so strange to adore a scent, and find those who actually dislike it. Easily my favourite. I like it, but don't know yet if I love it. The only thing I remember, not being able to connect those two perfumes other than by green, invigorating, refreshing colours. My heart immediately fell and I figured my blind buy was a bust. Its very nice and quite strong for a EDT. Bottle is gorgeous and I'm tempted to get the signature, just so I can display them together. My only negative comment is the short time in which Versence disappears, even after I've used the matching body wash and lotion. The scent was just lovely at this point, softly green, delicately musky, and with a sandalwood base. I definitively feel the bergamot note, its a scent that reminds me of an Italian garden with citrus, fig and pear trees, in the first opening. It's full of joy and happiness for me <3. And that is what it stays like throughtout the day. Versace Man Eau Fraiche is almost identical to Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue for Her, which I also take from my girl's collection from time to time. For me this is an UNISEX parfum, citrus, fresh and clean, moderate sillage and longevity. While pretty, it isn't different enough from so many others in the same vein to justify purchasing anything bigger than the mini I now own. However, it doesnt last very long. I like some of Versace's fragrances, mostly the ones for men. Could not detect any florals or pear for that matter. This has been my all-time fragrance since past 2 months. The citrus comes on a bit loud at first but the the florals tone it down. So crisp, so clean- a summer dream. I have a full, never been used, big bottle. Ok projection and longevity. This will be my summer go to, also a lovely out of the shower/ bed time fragrance in my opinion :). This perfume was a blind buy at TJ Maxx after looking at quite a few reviews and deciding to try it out. I'm a gourmand lover usually and was trying to find something fresh and light for summer and work. There is kind of fresh shower gel like feel to it that goes perfectly with my skin chemistry. I'd own every scent in the dang world if I could because I seem to find something I like about every scent I come into contact with, but THIS is a breath of fresh air quite literally. Definitely a unisex offering, bought this cheap for 30mL and very much worth it. I think I wouldn't even recognize it if someone passed by wearing this perfume. They will take us to a heart ruled by sea lily, rare flower with rare aromas, strengthened with jasmine petals and bitter-spicy accords of cardamom in an elegant way. It's a weak scent that doesn't project well. I used to wear DG Light Blue, but I like this more. I really enjoy this offering from Versace. I absolutely love this fragrance. Yes, thats how close you gotta get to smell it unfortunately. Versanse has a place in my collection. This is Versense. This use to be the best scent ever, before they decide to turn it into lemonade, so sad.. 'Versense is a walk in a fragrant garden, which contributes to freshness and a stream of feelings, as well as to self-esteem and vitality.' It is everything citrusy, zingy, and refreshing. Very casual and comfy. Keep getting whiffs of that sweet pear note all day, which Im generally not a fan of (sweet fragrances are not in my personal taste), but Im sure there are many people out there who would LOVE the way this dries down, sweetness and all. On first spray, this is all tart citrus with a hint of sweet cardamom. New one is nice, but I prefer older version. This to me smells like cucumber lemon water with slight sweetness. Versense is indeed a clean smell and rather warm. I have just come to think of this wonderful, both fresh, warm and cosy fragrance, when I was going through which really are my favourites. This is a long-lasting "freshie" that is quite uplifting. Ej mi piel huele a una mezcla de peras y notas verdes.es un perfume suave, no tan citrico como parece tambien siento un poco dulce. And if anything, I prefer Rosa Verde. Umema: The Perfume That'll Never Be Smelled, Carner Barcelona - the Summer Journey Collection, Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum, Amber and Ambergris are Two Different Notes, Rice Perfumes That Stand Out From the Crowd, Should You Smell Someone Before Talking to Them? I really, really like it. It amazes me that they only have three notes in common: top- bergamot; middle- lily; base- sandalwood.you really dont need both.
It's the pines, salt, laurel, cypress.Very prominent, our entire coast smells very fragrantly of those dry, aromatic herbs and trees. I can smell lot of citruses and some green notes in the beginning, then it is more floral-green. base which makes it special. The right amount of citrus, woods, flowers, spice, fruit, and just a hint of musk. Flacon of this perfume is made of see-through glass, created just like its antecedent from 2008, Versace. Men love it, women love it, the young woman who works at the dry cleaners asked me to write down the name, restaurant servers love it, bartenders love it. On me, this lasts for more than 8 hours and this is super affordable. If anything, the first fragrance that sprang to mind when putting this on was Vera Wang's Green Tea and Pear Blossom, especially on the dry down when the citrus top notes have died down, though this is clearly better quality with somewhat better performance; but not by much. Sillage is very close to the skin. Definitely in my top 5 citrus fragrances of all time. It is zesty with a bit of green notes and florals. If you are buying this, thinking you've made a deal not paying the money for Chance Eau Fraiche, think again, since this is nowhere close to the Chanel one, except for the citrus opening, which I also don't find very similar. A clean citrus fragrance with little bit of floral. However, this Versace Versense frustrates me because the longevity is dismal. After years of almost blind buying this, I finally was sent a mini. It starts out as a clean and fresh citrus with the lily softening the edges. I love this so much <3 it's so citrusy and woody, little floral and soooo lovelyyy. Versace Versense for Women 3.4 Oz Ve (60.00 USD), Buy it online BIG SALE on or Many items for sale on, Perfume rating4.00out of5 with8,547 votes. The drydown is woody with the cedar. Moreover, it is cheaper, and you cant smell it on everybody. I hope I can find more of this. It is like a breath of fresh air entwined with the aroma of lemon tree blossoms at the seashore.Truely a feel good perfume. Love to wear it at the gym. I did 5 sprays that morning, btw. I started driving and noticed the fragrance morph into what I can only call stale Irish Spring soap.
Rosa Verde on the other hand is much stronger. I get a bit of the woody notes, some green, not much musk, very little floral. I used to spray all of the time- however I went through a phase when I thought I didn't like it anymore- this is because first spritz is very chemical however the dry down after a few minutes is truly mesmerizing it screams sexy. Ive tested this today. It also layers beautifully with some of my lighter summer scents! Citrus usually fades after a while and other notes come forward but this stays very fresh and citrusy. I like the fact this doesnt take neither vanilla nor patchouli in its composition. This is a very inoffensive soft floral musk. Even though I prefer the Rosa Verde, I think Versense is more of a safe blind buy since it's more inoffensive and less loud. Goshh this is one of my favorite women's fragrances. And, truthfully, I am not putting on a whole lot! I recently started to consume a lot of lime juice. Make it citrusy and juicy. Fresh and zesty, although I wouldn't classify the zestyness here particularly citrusy. An expertly counterbalanced note in contrast to the luminescent start.
I am so addicted to this one that I reach for it every now and then so it could boost my mood and make me feel confident, lovable and fresh. I loved it immediately because of the citrus and the touch of floral. A summer fragrance, for sure! Lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, black pepper, cardamom, anise, mimosa, freesia, linden, geranium, pear lemongrass. Some colleagues of mine said they recognise me from this smell. Fairly linear. I can't wait to see if people comment on it! I wish I got more of the wood notes. Smells like something that teen girl would wear. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. I was let down. Fresh, green and inoffensive.
Its not exactly the same so please others like me yearning for Envy dont be expecting an exact match because it is less fresh and softer than Envy but close enough to thrill me! I can't believe it's discontinued! I have a small 5 mL bottle, but I dont think I will get a full bottle because I have Light Blue. I don't think this is much like Chance Eau Fraiche. I didn't want to waste money in case it was horrid. It reads a little green, as well as citrus floral, but not anywhere as green as Chanel 19 or Mugler Aura, for example. Perfect. I remember liking this fragrance when I smelled it for the first time, however now that I got it in my hands again, I actually am not a big fan. Literally one of my all time favourite scents. Ya know, I like this. it opens with a blast of citrus (lemon) and it infuses the floral note, white floral i believe, which make it very nice and sensual. It was my summer signature for several seasons. Clean. Versace outdid themselves with this one. The taste is much better, crispier and spicier then lemons. Versense is a fragrance for men. Absolutely refreshing, bright, clean, non-sharp citrus blended well with little sweetness from the pear, fig and sandalwood. I never tire of it, it never gives me a headache and people who sit around me in the office love it. Well what can i say.. My second a full 100ml bottle LOVE it. By fluke I was walking by the perfume isle and randomly picked up this bottle. Once the fragrance starts to develop, you then get the sweet and slight spiciness of the Lilly paired with the slightly sweet nuttiness from the cardamom, and the cool green leafy floral from the narcissus. Sparkling, fresh and elegant. It has a very slight soapy quality to it that I am guessing comes from the olive tree and the slight woodiness from the Cedar which is amplified by the sandalwood. Its beautifuly simple but you can feel the good quality. notes. If you like citruses, this is a must try. I tend to like a lot of perfumes which are green florals and aromatic. It is for women, but trust me it smells very unisex. I do get the lemon Pledge vibes but to be honest, I don't hate it.
also, this is worth the money. Airy, cheerful, confident, fresh. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. The bergamot smacks you in the face along with that ginger after one spray. I suppose I will start with the bright and cheery top notes, which protract light through the dome-like, beading drops of citrus oils, wrung gently from rind. There is a surreal stagger that ensues, "We couldn't have smelled the same thing!" It suits best during spring/summer season. Citrusy outburst followed by woody and floral notes in a balanced way makes it one of its types. This is everything I wanted Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche to be: clean citrus herbal woody wonderfulness with some spice (cardamom). But, something bitter like this is dreamy on me. I bought me a very small bottle. Then this has arrived and I am SO happy. Not just a clean smell scent. There was no citrus, just some unrecognized note that I can only describe as "dry", cloying and choking. I hadnt worn any type of scent in about 8 years, and this was my reintroduction into the perfume world- definitely a great way to start it out again! Creamy, luscious lily. Its one of my signatures. Dries down to a soft soapy green scent lacking soul. Picture Chanel's Chance Eau Frache, but without the unisex vibe. They're roughly the same cost so I will stick to my Valentino. Thought I would love this reading the notes but the florals kill it for me. Citrus heavy, Reminds me of sierra mist soda, refreshing and effervescent, perfect for around this time of year. That quickly fades into soft florals. I was unsure why people thought of this as unisex, its pretty girlie at first spritz but i can say the dry down is def more unisex. I love it when I walk the dog, go to the grocery store, or after the gymit is a versatile scent and reminds me of spring because it is simple and fresh and has a sweet and not sharp zing that is always uplifting. I do also get the lily, but barely any wood.
Helps aid seasonal depression because I definitely feel better wearing this during the wintry blues. All in all, I can recommend it to any woman with a smart, but feminine and charming style. So thats just my two cents.. When I first sprayed this, my eyes literally crossed it smells that good. I now own 3 back up bottles and have also purchased it as gifts for family and friends, that's how good I think it is. Versense was launched in 2009. When I smelled the cap I realized how much this smelled like Dolce & Gabbana light blue, which is a really good thing.
