While I absolutely loved our time in Yellowstone, I do wish that we had an extra couple of days so that we could have explored Grand Teton as well. Contrary to Mammoth Hot Springs, Boiling River IS a spot where you are able to get in the water! Thank you so much! After parking, follow the pathway all the way down to the bottom viewpoint for the best views of Gibbon Falls. The Great Fountain Geyser is one of the first that you will see and you are very lucky if you are here when it is erupting. Youre pretty much guaranteed to see wildlife in Lamar Valley, which is what most people come to this spot for. We visited at sunset and were able to catch some gorgeous photos. so I dont recommend swimming in it, however there are kayak rentals near the lake if you want to get out on the water! Also, they have unlimited miles which is something that most campervan companies dont offer! We have visited Sandals in the past and absolutely love the attention to detail and the service they provide. Each of us visiting next August is at very different fitness levels, so it will be good if everyone can keep up (or if its not enough for some). I got you! After parking by the gorgeous Firehole River, follow the boardwalk around the other geothermal features at Midway Geyser Basin like the gorgeous blue Turquoise Pool and the colorful Opal Pool.
