Im not sure how long this has been an issue? Our room was opposite the shopping centre so lacked privacy and was noisy but we hardly spent any time in the room for this to be an issue. The food at the hotel wasnt the best they had a few nice things from a big selection and my partner got really sick from something he ate there the pool was nice and massive compared to other hotels nearby. Post Covid perhaps? * The only negative - pool tiles are coming off the bottom of the pool.

For bookings made on or after 6 April 2020, we advise you to consider the risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and associated government measures. Its is apparently due to the pool being drained during covid and then once refilled, the grout had cracked and they started lifting. The reception staff were not helpful and we felt like prisoners having to wait for our roon to be readied, so we went for a drink/snack and was served up the worst pizza we have ever eaten. Everyday has been a joy at the hotel, staff everywhere have been so helpful and friendly, the main pool is huge (our children have spent all day in it, almost every day)and the food perfect. were reasonably priced, there was 'cheesy' entertainment each night, after several nights we found an Irish pub in El Duque shopping mall which was much better evening entertainment. The Bali beds were a lovely bonus and overall the atmosphere of staff and guests welcoming, friendly and safe (gated access) The location was great, a variety of shops/restaurants immediately outside resort, a short walk to beach and bars/restaurants and 3 beautiful beaches within 20 mins walking distance. We arrived on June 30th around 12:30pm, was told our room wouldn't be ready until 3pm so we went for a few drinks at the bar as well as going for lunch. If you need Iron and board you can hire it at the reception. I seen earlier reviews about the pool missing tiles but I assumed this was the odd one around the side of the pool but no the pool was missing loads of tiles on the floor which were loose just in the water, we did see at least 4 people who cut themselves and had to see first aid, however the hotel were in the middle of fixing this.

This was free and you had a 30 minute time slot. Racist hotel, do not waste your money here, guest will just stare at you like your not supposed to be here. Unfortunately we were on the top floor which the lift didn't go to.

A fantastic island where you can enjoy perfect temperatures all year round. I would suggest the hotel maybe change the lifeguards umbrella to a red one as I noticed people kept taking his and he was always having to look for one. El Duque Hotel Costa Adeje is situated 2 km from the centre of the city. The hotel is really an apartment complex (which is what we wanted), full of beautiful lit palm trees and a huge pool. Yes, guests often enjoy the mountain view available here. The whole complex was clean and appeared well looked after. The hotel is also only a 10-minute stroll of the sand beach.
Booked a superior room which was excellent - spacious, air conditioned and with a large balcony/terrace which had a table and chairs and two sun loungers. We always try to resolve any problems that may arise. We headed straight to the pool bar (which closes at 11) for a couple of cold drinks and then on to our accommodation to eat our meal on the balcony.
