We decided to walk one afternoon over to the super neat SkyWheel, which is just past the boardwalk area with tons of shopping and restaurants. This wasnt my first stay at a Westgate property. The bedroom was enormous with a dresser, TV, desk, and jetted tub. Villa was very clean and spacious. They are double beds and not queen and the mattress was VERY uncomfortable. Plenty to do on the resort and the staff was amazing. Pet friendly though there is a $150 free and $100 deposit. The resort was clean and the staff very friendly .I was at the resort over Memorial weekend and they had a pool party for the guests .I would definitely recommend the Westgate for your next getaway you will not be disappointed. Was told we have to check out at the front but didn't need to so wasted more time for that, parking garage is TIGHT for trucks, it's a hike to the garage from the 2000 tower as the only elevators are on the far side corner, some of the gates and doors didn't have working electronic locks. I liked how even though this is a dog friendly place, it didnt seem like it. You can stop at one of the piers and walk out onto it ($2/pp) or stop and grab a bite to eat. The dresser drawers would not stay closed. There are plenty of ice cream shops also, a must-do for any beach vacation. We apologize for any perceived rudeness from our staff. Our 1st day we stopped at coconut Willie's and met the nicest bartender.. I will never stay here again and will tell everyone I know how unpleasant the experience was and how Expedia didn't help us. Eat earlier in the afternoon. Dining options are available for this property. Plus, some dining places close fairly early and you dont want to be stuck without dinner for your hungry kids.
