We chose "blackout" blinds for our bedrooms and daytime blinds for the rest. Definitely recommended :), Long over due testimonial, dated 2014, 5 years down, curtain is still sturdy, no sign of wear and tear, which I believe durable materials are used. Installer was also very professional and gave extra tips to handle blinds and curtains.
