The room was clean and what we needed for 2 adults and 4 kids. Beautiful rooms. They have 4 available clean hot tubs, two inside and two outside, heated pools inside and outside and two lazy rivers, one inside and one outside. I have stayed min 11 different resorts over the last 11 years and not one of them have been less than 5 stars in comfort and cleanliness and above all whole hearted southern welcome. I didn't get a chance to see rooms in the Main Tower, but We will not stay in the Jamaica again.

Hotel seems like it could use a little renovating, but I know everyone in hospitality is just trying to recover from COVID right now. There was a wide variety on the menu to choose from and the price was right. House keeping was slow on arriving to clean the room. Caribbean Resort offers a seasonal kids club as well as a grill and snack bar, and in-room dining! 
Right at the beginning of quiet Golden Mile, yet close to all activities and walking distance to most everything! I would stay here again for sure. so this is my favorite myrtle beach resort and i have stayed at a few but no more the Caribbean has won! I'm here to write a honest review.
The prices are right and the rooms are clean and the people are great . Could use a fresh coat of paint on interior walls and a few places to plug in USB cords, but other than that it was a perfect stay! We hope to retire there!
My group has been staying there for 16 years. A great family friendly resort and definitely the place where we will come back to year after year. Unfortunately the Resort was performing some maintenance around the pool areas in preparation for the busy season. Always have a good family trip. Their food was soo good and plentiful that would hold us until we walked down the beach later for an early seafood dinner. Elevator was filthy our entire stay. If we hadnt pre-rented a tent on the beach already, we wouldve just stayed by the pool. Perfect access to beach. Great view. The lady at the front desk was professional, kind, and so helpful. The housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating. You will come back. We enjoyed every minute of our stay !!

Also did not like the fact that the water slide and children's play area were not at our building, which had the food and drink bar. And we get a fantastic breakfast every day at Captain's next door. Each and every day, same time - like clockwork, our cleaning person, Shanika, was just a gem to open our door to!! I would definitely recommend as a nice budget friendly ocean front hotel! I counted over 300 outside lounge chairs for those warm afternoons. We come from Pennsylvania. The 3 bedroom ocean front rooms were always nice and a great view!! Amenities were great! Well set up and comfortable, particularlythe bed. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate I was very pleased with the service and the product at Caribbean Resort and Villas.
Our room was on the 20th floor rm 2006 Cayman tower. Great place to stay with family/little ones. No problem after that the room and staff were very nice, My family and I came to this establishment for our summer vacation. The restaurant and bars on site were top notch too!
My grandchildren loved the pool and the beach.We will be booking again for sure during the summer!! Beautiful resort, plenty to do and near to everything!! Rooms very clean. In addition my favorite restaurant, The Sea Captain's House serves delicious foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is located next door to the lovely rooms/suites of the Caribbean. I enjoyed the time I spent in Myrtle beach the people was very kind. Rooms are always clean and staff friendly. After a bad experience with customer service at the Sandcastle Ocean Front Resort, I cancelled my reservation and went here and had the best customer service from beginning to end!! This is one of our favorite resorts to stay at in Myrtle Beach. Sincerest appreciation !! The room was spacious and very well cleaned. Even made sure each kid had a map of the place and key card to our room. We had planned to stay for a day, we were there for 3,lol. Slow check-in and had to replace a few key cars during the stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. My kids loved the guy playing music by the pool, hes there until about 1pm. The room 1909 was absolutely gorgeous. I enjoy helping take care of my ten grandchildren all year but for my last bit of sun and relaxation before winter sets in I head to Myrtle Beach every year in the fall. The "ex suites" were fantastic as well as the smaller units.. Watch the sun come up & ocean right from the bed..Service was great!! Always a wide variety of things to do or just relax. Someone does great job in training. This hotel is very kid/family friendly. About 10 years ago we began booking our accommodations at the Caribbean Resort & Villas, thru Myrtle Beach Golf. We rented a king suite in the adjoining Dominican Tower for extra room. Hangout by the large pool surrounded by a tropically landscaped courtyard or head down for some fun on the beautiful stretch of the beach. All in all, it can't be beat for monthly rentals to get away from the wintry snows in northern US.
Were a family of 6 and the ocean front-double bed was perfect. Two lazy rivers, Two pools & three hot tubs. villas The place has it all! Kids had a blast!! Check back with us soon for our Fall rewards. Spike listened to all stories and answered any questions they had. And we were very close to everything. Enjoyed our staywould have preferred higher floorbut over all a nice stay. They are continually updating and renovating as well in order to keep it fresh. It has its own restaurant on the property. I have stayed at the carribean many times with other golfers on golf packages, my wife always enjoy our stay.
Chelsea condos were great! I am already looking forward to December 2018! They first gave us a ground floor room and the price was a bit high but we were nicely sent to a higher level room the next day. The front lobby smells really good so welcoming!! The friendliness of the staff was wonderful they came right whenever we called and needed anything. The beds were very comfortable. We especially like the condo/villa units. Our room was in the Jamaica Tower, which is much smaller, it is two buildings over from the main resort- and the Jamaica is very old, and run down. Smoking: All units are NON-SMOKING! My wife and I really enjoyed our 4 day vacation during the week here. My grandchildren had a blast. We have always been happy and satisfied with our stays at the Caribbean. We love to stay at Caribbean resort.
The Jamaican Motor Inn building includes ocean-view and oceanfront rooms as well as an oceanfront penthouse. After reading the reviews on here I was scared to death to bring my family there. If there is evidence of smoking in your room you will be charged a $250 cleaning fee. There were lots of dishes, mugs & glasses in the kitchen. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, excellent rooms and accommodations! Cleaning staff were great! There is plenty to do for all ages. Clean, Clean, Clean!! An outdoor lazy river offers a relaxing float around 200 feet oceanfront. For many years, I had been a visiting guest at the Caribbean resort and was always welcomed with genuine friendliness and treated with such courtesy, respect and affection, just like they treated my host! We come here and stay at the Caribbean Resort every year. Most of the curtains served us well throughout except for the middle bedroom where they don't reach the floor like all the others - too much light in the morning. Also has a bathroom for each room and 2 balconies. **, Great Location Near Restaurants & Attractions. Stayed there every year for 6 years in a row. Even the little ones have an area under roof where they can play without being exposed to the sun. This place is the best. Everything was wonderful.

The concierge Ben was very helpful. Can't wait to visit again !!! It is centrally located and allows us easy drives to courses up North, out West, and our favorites down South. The kids loved the pools and specially the water slide. Our family really enjoyed the free tickets for local attractions and the free movie rentals. the finest quality. It was great! .3 pool areas, with 5 hot tubs great place for families! Thanks for the great stay, highly recommend. Excellent hotel with plenty of amenities! It can't get here fast enough. We were able to walk everywhere else including Starbucks and Ben and Jerry's across the street. We enjoyed our stay at the Caribbean.
She was very polite and helpful and very welcoming to waiting guest and ensured my needs were met! It is expensive though and not centrally located. The indoor lazy river was heated perfectly for the chilly weather outside. Myrtle Beach has great entertainment venues like the Alabama theater & the Carolina Opry. Really enjoyed the in room laundry and full kitchen features We traveled off season during April vacation week the weather was fantastic. My 2 daughters and myself had an awesome time with oldest daughter doing the hair show and me and youngest daughter enjoying the hotel, shopping & eating. We have stayed at the Carribean on and off for 25 years love the hotel and where it is located on the strip. My husband did not care for being on the 19th floor!! Our room was uniquely positioned and we felt as though we were on a cruise. This has been beyond our expectations and completely fell in love with this hotel! Four-Day/Three-Night Stay at North Shore Oceanfront Resort. The balcony view was beautiful. We love this hotel and the atmosphere is wonderful. It was like time had stood still all these years and it was still our first stay. My room was very spacious. Not the best value but it is familiar for to us - we don't want surprises or unexpected poor service or accommodations. There was lots to do in Myrtle Beach. The check in was smooth. Actually, there are a lot of great restaurants in Myrtle Beach. The rooms were clean, and the view was amazing. The room was very clean and provided ample space. Enjoyed having a swimming pool that was almost our private pool. Only once has the furniture looked a bit beat up, but it has always been comfortable and reasonable. reservation, no extra charge will be made. I love the Caribbean resort and all its amenities! Upon arrival Spike assisted me and he was wonderful. We especially liked hanging out by the fire pit while the kids kept playing in the pool at night.
This hotel even had a heated outdoor pool (we got in it) and a spa and lazy river as well. We just didn't realize there wasn't elevator access. Overall I had a beautiful experience and plan to return yearly. We had plenty of towels and wash clothes. Hotl was amazing, staff was polite and efficient, pools wee great, wonderful view from room. Skip jack bar serves great drinks and light foods ,I only wish they were open longer into the evening. Just because its Fall doesnt mean the fun has to end. The restaurant was ok, had a breakfast buffet. On-site dining options include Oceanfront Tiki Bar which serves burgers and fries along with other snacks poolside. At check-in, Miss Hattie Myers at the front desk got us checked in. This has become our annual relaxation vacation spot! Amenities awesome. I wasn't a huge issue, we managed fine. You can make two rooms since both have their own door. Other features include large balconies, an exercise room, free covered parking, room service every day, and a new lobby with a bar. Staff was very friendly. We will be coming down south golfing for a number of years to come and will be staying at the Caribbean Resort each time. My wife and I take an annual anniversary trip every December. I always liked the larger than average rooms,which were exceptionally clean. This was only a small inconvenience. Will definitely be back and would stay at the Carribean again. One of the best features is that the Jamaican is adjacent to the Sea Captains House, one of the best restaurants anywhere. The ocean front view is spectacular. The experience at the resort was very nice and they were very helpful to us. This hotel is located in the heart of everything. Great place to stay. Family friendly for sure. The TV's all had cable and the wifi was ok. Housekeeping checked in on us daily and provided towels when needed and took the garage out daily. My husband and I celebrated our 23 years off being together wehen we visited.The resort was close to everything even walking distance to the outlet store,how Kool was that for me.Im short and walking was something we both enjoyed. That's how much I love it, the amenities and the staff.
