Can I use the same thread size of water pump as well? You cannot just ditch the stock elbow. freq may vary. 11/16 for the elbow deal, but my performer rpm intake required a bushing as well. Heater hose fitting is 1/2" NPT (Pipe thread).

If you're saying that the fitting which is for the heater hose (mine is a 5/8" hose) is 1/2" NPT, I'm not sure that is correct. I just took off an Edelbrock Performer manifold and it had a heater hose fitting which is larger than the one on my stock Ford manifold.
