I can't use latex so I can't speak for that, but for say the Sally Hansen Peel off I would say this works a tad bit better but if you aren't in it for the longevity I would say stick with the regular peel off but this one works well with long term wear! This seems like a nice meet in the middle option. I did just get some fake gels that don't need UV. I've never tried a product like this but I love the idea of it! Well guys I think that is information wise from my adventure with this polish. Seems like a great idea especially for the DIYer! In this case I did do thin coats but since my thumb nails are quite curved it decided that the thin coat wanted to run to one side more than the other and therefore making that are thicker and when you cure that it doesn't cure smooth even if you think it looks smooth when you put it under the light. I don;t use gel polish because it just doesn't make sense for my needs and sometimes my peel off base coats some off a little too easily.
(By the way, I don't actually like the "thick" look of gel polish, I use it for durability, so I don't care if this has that or not). I am pretty excited about it.
