I know you wrote this a few months ago and maybe someone already mentioned it, but I recently tried Dashing Diva nail strips. Coconut is exclusively sold by Walmart. They had four designs that were out.
Which are your favorite Color Street dupes? My friend told me about the mineral remover I mentioned above and I LOVE it. Once I finally got the clear coat off, the polish strips themselves didnt even work! They came off similarly to Dashing Divas in that I ended up just pulling the whole sticker off.
Really tiny cracks. These started to crack towards the end of the first week of wear. Coconut also has 12 styles to choose from. Heres what she had to say about them: For the price I feel like they are pretty good but they are definitely not the same higher quality as Color Street. Just make sure that youre staring with a clean nail (I wash my hands and then wipe with nail polish remover (some use an included prep pad) to make sure its starting out fresh. SO many cute colors and patterns (similar to Lily and Fox below) and she gets new ones really frequently, Free, fast shipping (and she sends a little treat too). Its so interesting to see how the different brands work for everyone. And with the price difference between Incoco and Color Street, you cant really go wrong. All three Incoco brands have the exact same ingredients, listed in the same order. While I use the French Manicure and glitter Incoco and they never crack and look great for 3-4 weeks before having to change them.

These are some really well-known nail polish strip companies, but theres another company that I found called Deck The Nails that also sells nail polish strips. Incoco Headquarters is located in Clifton, New Jersey, U.S.A where they produce all Color Street, Coconut, and Incoco nail strips. We looked into Incoco more and thought it would be fun to do a review/comparison of the two products but it turns out there are three products: Color Street, Incoco, and Coconut.
After trying Lily And Fox these were an absolute DREAM to put on. I know this was written almost a year ago but I wanted to address the no solid evidence that Incoco and Coconut were phasing out. That kind of bugged me. Ive had a few Color Street sets crack but if you double them up, or use Color Street Clear As Day over them usually keeps them from cracking.
If I want to frank, the absolute best Color Street alternatives come from Incoco. You do still have to use a nail file and scissor due to their thickness. There are a lot of similarities between Color Street & its sister company Incoco, but there are some difference as well. FYI. Application process was a bit harder than Color Street doesnt come off the backing and the top clear cover doesnt come-off as easily. Again, you can buy them online but youll have to deal with shipping fees. Lily and Fox by Far. If they changed their formula and made them easier to apply Id be on board to try them again. There were only 6 styles to choose from because they didnt carry all 12 designs and two were out of stock. There are a lot of options. They had one much bigger than my thumb (it would have to be for your toe) and they have one that is smaller than my pinky. Small business, which is always awesome to support! I had chips and weirdness on them immediately. Just apply close to the nailbed, and then smooth down along your nail. I like the feel of Color Street/Incoco more. Why?

Although I like the colors of color street better the Incoco just seem to look better for longer.
There are a number of similarities between Color Street, Incoco, and Coconut nails. EXCEPT the rubbery-feeling nail part. Youll have to check your own Walmart to see what they sell in stores. Once out of the box, the nail strips themselves look the same. If you dont know to do this then youre nail polish strips might not last as long. We had to use nail clippers to cut around it. I know others who double up or put the clear on over a set but I dont want to waste a set. I do think Color Street is the superior brand between the three but it was nice to pick up a cute set while I was already out shopping. A lot less money going to a professional. I notice my nails are a bit more brittle after I use it.
My only complaint when it comes to Incoco was that the nail polish cracked in a pretty obvious way. A little sticky feeling but otherwise well wear. Ill update the post once Ive tried them out on my toes. But Im pretty sure Ive heard of them. Ill start with the Coconut brand nails. Color Street has been extremely transparent with their stylists and when this was written, we were told they were indeed phasing out both brands.
I had heard they were of a higher quality than Incoco, but honestly, after I put them on (which was easier) they feel pretty much the same. After about 8 hours later I cleaned my kitchen and after I noticed 5 of my wraps had fallen off. In 2021, we will continue to reduce the retail presence of the Incoco brand in the US. Yes some people may argue that its expensive but if stored correctly ( it is Nail Polish and it will dry out)you can get at least 2 manicures and 2 pedicures and maybe 2 accent nails. When people comment about my nails, and I tell them about color street, I actually encourage them to try coconut or incoco first, as practice, because it does take getting use to. And your right hand is just as easy to do as your left. rhoads dusti Ugh, regular polish remover does NOT work well, and can damage your nails. You can purchase nail strips from both places online where you could end up paying shipping fees. Also, you do get more nails with Color Street than you do with Incoco so that is a benefit! I have found that none of them last as long as Color Street (incoco too of course) and keep my nails still healthy. I actually even had an issue with my recent order and reached out to their support.

I love all nail polish strips so getting a surprise every 30, 60, or 90 days is so fun! Very disappointed. This can be really problematic as those nails STICK to you (which is great, til you want them off).

I used just a drop of cuticle oil and just pulled it off with a cuticle stick (which is how they recommend).
IS there a brand out there that is less plastic-y and more easy to fit on the nails? The Incoco set felt a lot like Color Street nail polish strips but they did seem slightly thinner.

. Also, in comparison with Color Street, I couldnt use my finger nail to tear off the nail strip at my cuticle, it was a bit too thick. Ive been able to keep some Color Street nails on for a month without signs of wear, just obvious regrowth. I personally LOVE color street! The Color Street ones can be readjusted and they will still stick. The biggest pain point was that they had to use heat to seal onto your nails.
Youd be less likely to see the cracks and nail polish strips do tend to last longer on toe nails. No ones nails lasted as long as the strips though, I find the strips to be much easier and longer lasting than at-home gel nails! If you look at the packaging side by side you can clearly see the similarities. They are exactly the same as Luna Nail wraps (but I dont have a coupon code). I think they are the easiest to apply myself and last the longest. You can read all about them in Kristys full and honest review. The only reason I will change soon is to put my 4th of July nails on. They are definitely less spendy than Color Street. You cant order nails from the site.

Within minutes I was seeing chipping along the edge of my nail. Hi! I never had that problem with Color Street nails. No artistic skills necessary! I might give the Coconut brand another try because they are so cheap but Id probably only use them on my toe nails. I HAVE BEEN USING THE WALMART ONES AND THEY ARE THE BEST !!! The growth while wearing them is unbelievable! The whole package was unusable. As you read these reviews, please note that this is my review of them in 2019. A French Manicure might also be worth a try for the money. At Walmart they are $6.88 but at Ulta they are $7.99.

Coconut only gives you 12. It starts to raise from the skin when the nail starts to grow out. It didnt work quite as easily and I felt like it left extra goo on my nail.
Easy to reposition and nail still stuck well. For now, they are in stores so lets get to know them better. You have to scrub harder than regular polish to get them off (or peel them off, probably taking some nail protection with it).
Incoco has 12 styles available at Ulta. Color Street has SO many more options though, so theres that.

If I hand you a nail strip out of the package would you be able to tell which brand it came from? Incoco nail strips price changes based on where you buy them, but not by much. The only big challenge is glitter type wraps, but those are always going to be a bit of a tough removal.

I havent yet! Color Street has just over a hundred different styles you can choose from.
While there are a handful more nail strip styles online through Walmart, Id be a bit reluctant to buy them. They also have a pretty good variety of nails if you shop in their online store, and I like all the accent nail options. I use pure acetone and all comes off the same as regular polish because it is polish. These strips feel very smooth and polish-like though.
And at half the price of Color Street.
Wear was pretty good, this Instagram shows some of the cute glitter ones I have and how they lasted (these are pictured after a week). This makes it pretty clear, at least to me, that they use the same formula for Color Street, Incoco, and Coconut. They are no longer sold at Ulta Beauty. Color Street Nails, an Honest Review From a Non-Seller.
If you buy through a color street rep (my friend McKenzie sells them) you will get a much larger variety of nails to try, but the nails themselves seem pretty similar to Incoco. I had one nail that I couldnt get lined up quite right so I had to pull it up to re-position it. If I shopped regularly at Ulta, I could see picking up a pair of these but I wouldnt go out of my way to get a set. This gives you the luxury of finding the absolute best fit for each nail in addition to having 20 strips per package instead of 16 like Color Street provides. I would cut them in half vs trying to file/nail clip off the end. Most nail strips have a pattern on them.
I have them on right now, going on 3 weeks. The customer service and how helpful the color street stylists are and selection and use of website and what you get in the package. They have lots of choices online and designs that CS seems to do so well with. With an of them, youll need to cut it off the end of your nail (the excess) somehow. She loves eating, cooking, and DIY projects. They are actually the first nail strips I tried (I did try Jamberry a few years ago with lack-luster results). Incoco can be bought at Walmart or Ulta. Some of the strips come in solid colors and some have an accent nail, there are also french tips, and some of them are all patterns (sparkles, geometric designs). Give it a try! And unlike Color Street, I havent noticed hair getting stuck underneath the strip because they stay flush with the nail bed. Ulta has a better selection in stores but Walmart seems to have a better selection online. Although it appears that Ulta is not going to carry them any longer and has them all clearanced for 4.00 each.
I was able to find spots for all 12 styles at Ulta but they were out of a couple of them. They would be great in an Easter basket or Christmas stocking. These are great for kids. There are some slight quality differences, but they arent different enough to really notice or care about. I grabbed Have a Heart and was on my way.
Its too expensive for me. I think it was only noticeable to me but it is there.
With all of these, I found some tips that seem to help the application. With all of the brands, I preferred clipping the ends off often taking a bit of my nail off with it. I tried most that you mentioned and I have to say the worst one for me was Dashing Diva. That was just a big fat pain. The strip was harder to file off I tried filing, but next time I think Id cut them with a nail clipper to see if it works better. Sounds like these are a great option for kids and tweens as well. I never seem to have any chipping and it wears very evenly at the tips making it easy to file away the uncovered nail. That nail is now coming off. Thats not a lot.
I know they say to wrap it around your nail and then use the filing board to file it off. In fact, rumors have been going on about it for years. I will recommend both. I loved the price, but most of all I loved all the different options that they had. Just let them sit with a cotton ball on for a few minutes and slide the glitter dipped color right off. We got a comment from a reader on the Color Street Review post telling us that Color Street used to be Incoco so we decided to look into things. Use a cuticle pusher to rip the excess strip. Keep in mind that they say you can only use them when you open them. You can find them in stores sometimes. I feel like thats important when using nail strips. Application is very easy.

The strips I chose were darker in color, and I dont notice cracking (but I find its harder to notice that on darker colors).

In my first attempt at wearing these, they seemed to resist chipping more as well as lifting at the base around the cuticle where I would typically have problems with Color Street. Walmart I do have a few other strips and I might try them, but from application to wear, they were a big fat no.
